Old Police Cells Museum
This museum in Brighton, England offers tours of the old prison cells and a collection of Sussex police history notes in the basement of the town hall. The museum was the brainchild of Brighton artist John Drake. It was adopted by his wife as her intentional project and the museum was opened on the 4th of May 2005 by the Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Dame Pat Drake. The museum has been set up thanks to the work and enthusiasm of retired police officers, serving staff and council staff and with the wonderful support of the Brighton Princess Trust and graphic students from the University of Brighton.
