Opera National du Rhin
This theater first opened in 1821 and was designed by the architect Jean-Nicolas Vilot. The theater was designed in a classical style, and the façade was decorated with statues of six female artists, each statue corresponding to one of the theater's marble columns. Then the building was rebuilt by the engineer, Jean Geoffroy, after the siege of the city and the building was severely damaged, and it was reopened in 1873. The theater presents many shows, such as ballet, opera, dance, and various workshops as well.
