Orangery Palace Karlsaue
The Orangery Palace was built during the reign of Landgrave Charles between 1703 AD and 1711 AD, and since then it has formed the northern corner of Carlsau Park, but today it is used as a museum and store for astronomy and energy. This Baroque palace was built on the styles of French architectural designs. The main building is 139.40 meters long and designed as a low structure with an upper middle section of two floors and two high wings of three floors. The architecture of the building continued the Baroque garden axes, and the long galleries served as ballrooms and at the same time as a winter home for preserved plants. This palace is still an important landmark for architects to this day.
