Ortahisar Culture Museum

The Orethisar Cultural Museum was established in 1954 AD as the first tourist hotel in the Cappadocia region, and after the restoration work of the old "Goreme Hotel" building that was built in the city, it turned into a cultural museum for the city containing 12 rooms in total, in which the traditional lifestyles of people are described. Living in the Cappadocia region in an ethnographic language, with carvings, how rocks were carved in churches and houses, agricultural life, tools used in agriculture, ancient ceilings (kitchen), molasses making, carpet and rug weaving, canvas printing techniques, Turkish bath and old village square.
