Osman Hamdi Bey House and Museum
This house was built by the Turkish artist Osman Hamdi Bey in the village of Gebze Eskihisar in Kocaeli Province in 1884 as a suite, a drawing house, and a residence. Many building materials influenced by French architecture were brought from abroad. This house is filled with pictures of flowers, tables, and wooden doors. Othman Hamdi Bey painted his most famous paintings in this house where he spent his summer months for 26 years.
