The Osman Ghazi Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Gulf of Izmit at its narrowest point, connecting the Turkish town of Gebze with Yalova Province and carrying the O-5 highway across the gulf. This 2,682-meter-long bridge is the fourth longest suspension bridge in the world and the second longest in Turkey. Europe, it was opened on July 1, 2016, and surpassed the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge to become the longest bridge in Turkey.
