Description of the place
The Pantheon is a monument located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris in the square that bears his name. The edifice was built between 1758 and 1790, based on designs by Jacques-Germain Soufflot, by order of King Louis XV. XV), which intended the church to be dedicated to Saint Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris, whose relics were to be placed in the church.
