Parc de la Devesa

Parque de la Dipesa is the largest urban park in Girona. It covers an area of 40 hectares, and is surrounded by the rivers Terre, Gouy and Onyar. Since 1943, the park has been considered a cultural asset of national stature. This garden is characterized by plane trees, as they are the most common in the garden, as there are more than 2,500 trees, and due to their large number, the trees did not grow fully, but they are tall, which makes the view of the garden very distinctive. The park also contains flat areas, and it is one of the most popular places for Girona residents, especially when the weather is mild, as there is a large wheel that gives visitors the opportunity to see the picturesque nature from above.
