Pathanapuram

Pathanapuram is a picturesque village in Kollam district, spread over an area of 248 sq km. The village is famous for its rubber and spice plantations, and for businesses such as domestication, farming, goat-raising and bamboo weaving, it is an important center of trade in Kollam. Many festivals are also held in the village during the months of February and March, and people from all over the world come to participate in the festivals.
