Pera Museum

The Pera Museum, which opened its doors in June 2005, is considered as the first step of a comprehensive cultural initiative implemented by the Sona and Inan Kirach Foundation to provide cultural and artistic services in this distinctive part of the city. The museum includes many distinguished art collections belonging to elite Turkish artists. There are "Oriental Painting" and "Anatolian Weights and Measures" collections. The museum participates with its audience through exhibitions, publishing products, oral activities, film screenings, educational programs and scientific studies that are held in it, and aims to pass them on to future generations. It also hosts important names from international art with its periodic exhibitions.
