Description of the place
The Pearland Tower is a stunning bell tower built in the 15th century in Gothic style, and is one of the most impressive buildings in the city, as well as the tallest tower in the Old Town. The tower was isolated from the outside with chains so that it would not be subject to demolition in the event of earthquakes in the city. It is one of the landmarks that have been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists every year, so don't miss it if you are in town.
