Pont Neuf
The new bridge spans the Garonne River and connects the square of the new bridge with Avenue de la République in the city of Toulouse. Contrary to its name, this bridge is considered the oldest in the city, as it was built in the sixteenth century, and is still used by vehicles and pedestrians. Today, it is a symbol of the city of Toulouse. It is 220 meters long with seven arches of different sizes that give the bridge an asymmetrical look. You can stroll among the trees along the banks of the river to get the best views of the bridge.
