Porta Pia is an ancient ancient gate to the city of Ancona that was built in the late eighteenth century at the request of Pope Pius VI to be a huge entrance to the city, designed by architect Filippo Marchionne in the Baroque architectural style, and the gate is distinguished by its decorations and prominent inscriptions.
