Description of the place
The Romanesque Porte de Bourgogne city gate was designed in the 1750s by the famous architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel, best known for redesigning the Place de la Concorde in Paris and the École Militaire and Petit Trianon in Versailles; It is worth noting that the gate was the official entrance to the city from Paris, so if you are near, do not miss seeing it.
