Description of the place
Built in the 1400s and altered in the 18th century, Poultry Cross is a historic landmark, gathering area and market junction. It is classified by English Heritage as a Grade I listed structure and is the only surviving of 4 structures that existed in the city previously. In addition to its importance and its privileged location in the heart of the old market, it is a suitable place to take the most beautiful memorial photos.
