Prasat Beng Mealea Temple
The Prasat Bing Melia temple was built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early twelfth century. It is located 40 km east of the main group of temples in Angkor Wat. It was established as a Hindu temple, but there are some carvings depicting Buddhist motifs, and it was built using sandstone. It is also decorated with many trees and dense plants flourishing amidst its towers and courtyards.
