Preah Ko Temple
The Preah Ko Temple is one of the oldest monuments in the city of Siem Reap. This Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva is named after the sacred bull Nandi, and was built in 879 AD by order of King Indravarman I in honor of his ancestors in the town of Hariharalaya - the ancient capital of the Khmer that preceded Angkor Thom several centuries ago - and it includes three towers, stone statues in the form of lions, and amazing carvings.
