Princess Cave
Princess Cave, also known as Phra Nang Cave, located on the eastern side of Railay Bay, is famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Since ancient times, the cave was home to fishermen before going to sea. They made offerings to Goddess Shiva, as they believed that the cave was the home of the legendary sea princess and that their offerings would bring them prosperity. Success in hunting them protects them from danger, but more importantly, the cave contains a large collection of carved wooden icons, offerings, and other items believed to aid fertility.
