Pyramid of Amenemhat III at Hawara

The Hawara Pyramid is located in the Egyptian city of Fayoum and is one of the most famous archaeological tourist facilities in it, which dates back hundreds of years when it was built for Amenemhat III of the Twelfth Dynasty in ancient Egypt. It is located about 9 km east of the Fayoum Oasis. The pyramid was built of bricks and then covered with limestone, and it is sometimes called the Black Pyramid. When it was still standing, the Hawara Pyramid was a large structure 58 meters high and each side of the pyramid's base was about 100 meters long.
