Qattinah Lake

Qattina or Lake Homs is considered one of the few distinct lakes located 15 kilometers from the city center of Homs. It is an artificial lake created by the pooling of the waters of the Orontes River due to the presence of the Homs Lake Dam, which is considered one of the most prominent ancient engineering works that were built by the Romans in Syria. .
