Near the pyramids of Giza, the Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Center was founded in the early 1950s by the late architect Ramses Wissa Wassef as a weaving school, and has since developed into an art center that includes workshops, galleries, a museum of pottery and sculpture, and houses and buildings.
