Kizilkuli or the Red Tower is a historical tower, located in the Turkish city of Alanya, and today it is considered a symbol of the city. This tower was built at the beginning of the reign of the Anatolian Sultan Alaeddin Kay Qubad I, and its construction was completed in 1226. The name of the tower was derived from the red brick stone that was used in its construction, so the Red Tower is one of the finest examples of military and defensive architecture in the Middle Ages, which It is 33 meters high and 12.5 meters wide, as this tower was built with the aim of protecting the arsenal dating back to 1221, Alanya Castle, and the port, against attacks from the sea.
