The exemplary work of Hungarian Art Nouveau, the Ryck Palace, was built by architect Ede Magyar in 1907 at the age of 30. Water was the defining motif of the building and this can be seen in the row of blue water lilies that adorn the snow-white façade and the balcony grilles that Swirls of aquatic plants evoke the biodiversity of wall surfaces; The château was originally built as a residential building until 2007 when it was dubbed the Regional Center for All Arts. Visitors can admire the works of Picasso, Goya, Chagall and Rembrandt in the rotating exhibitions held there.
