Regional Historical Museum

The Regional History Museum is one of the oldest historical museums in Ukraine. It was established in 1896 AD. The museum consists of 16 halls representing different periods of the history of Chernihiv from ancient times to modern times. It displays a rich collection of artifacts from statues, sculptures, costumes, iron and copper utensils, in addition to old books and rare documents. The museum also includes an archaeological section that displays a collection of crosses, jewelry, seals, and ancient weapons, as well as some skeletons and various fossils.
