Resurrection of Christ Orthodox Cathedral

Among the main tourist attractions in the city, the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ is an Albanian Orthodox church and the third largest church in the Balkans. The church has a high tower that rises 46 meters, and its unique interior design dating back to the seventeenth century, with stairs made of granite, and wooden seats that can accommodate up to 2000 people. The church's perimeter houses the bell tower, the seat of the Holy Synod, the cultural centre, a library, and a small museum.
