Reykjavik Art Museum Asmundarsafn

The museum is the main building out of three buildings distributed throughout Iceland. It is the home and former operator of the famous sculptor Esmondor Svensson, who designed and also participated heavily in building most of it in Laugardalur in the same city. The museum displays his works and aspects of His life, as well as a large group of his sculptures placed inside and outside the building, inspired by the Icelandic epics and the battles fought in the country, and folk tales told to children and others.
