Rommel Beach and Bridge

The amazing Rommel Bridge connects the eastern and western parts of Marsa Matrouh Bay, and provides majestic views of the two parts. The bridge leads to the well-known Rommel Beach, to which hundreds of thousands of locals and tourists come every year to enjoy the charming beauty of nature. The beach is characterized by its soft white sand and clear waters with gradient colors from white to turquoise. The beach and the bridge were called "Rommel" because it was the place where German Nazi Rommel led his operations in World War II.
