It is a contemporary art gallery, which opened on May 15, 1969 in the German city of Rostock. It is located in a picturesque natural area near the lake, surrounded by wide green spaces from every direction. It displays a selection of valuable works of art such as paintings, photographs, paperwork and sculptures by the most famous German and international artists such as Georg Baselitz, Paolo Roversi, Ernst Barlach and others.
