Royal Armouries Museum

Housed in an unusual modernist building, in a pretty leafy, canal-lined neighborhood, this museum is home to the National Arms and Armor Collection, which features five art galleries: war, heroism, self-defence, hunting, and oriental arms and armour. Modern displays including Henry VIII's armor, history of warfare and experimental weapons, and you can get hands-on on warriors' helmets and watch gauntlet shows as well as a medieval battle. Amazing weapons collection of real weapons of all kinds from ancient swords to machine guns. Besides, there is a nice cafe on the water canal, and it is considered a museum suitable for children.
