The museum displays a collection of jewelry from the ruling families that ruled Egypt throughout the ages. The museum building is a palace built in 1919 AD with an area of 4185 square meters. It belongs to Princess Fatima Al-Zahraa and was designed according to the style of European buildings in the nineteenth century. The museum includes ten halls, and among the exhibits in it: a collection of rare historical artifacts, starting from the period of the rule of Muhammad Ali Pasha until Farouk I, and a collection belonging to Prince Tawfiq that includes 12 pieces of platinum and gold, and a wallet inlaid with gold and diamonds, in addition to the pocket watch of the Ottoman sultans and many others. One of the wonderful jewelry that reflects the life of luxury that rulers and sultans lived.
