Founded in 1962, the Conimbriga Monographic Museum displays a permanent collection that embodies the historical development of Conimbriga, which is one of the largest Roman settlements excavated in Portugal. The antiquities displayed in the museum date back to the period between the end of the second millennium BC and the sixth century of the Christian era, and include Some pieces devoted to various aspects of daily life, such as glass, pottery, stonework, games, weights and measures, etc., as well as some sculptures, mosaics, stucco parts, and wall paintings.
