Sahaba Mosque

The Mosque of the Companions is located in the old market area of Sharm El-Sheikh, and it is considered an architectural masterpiece built in the unique Ottoman style. The foundation stone of the mosque was laid in January 2011, but construction work was suspended during the events of the revolution, and work resumed again later in April of the same year. It was designed by the Egyptian architect Fouad Tawfiq Hafez, and its area is 3,000 square meters, and it includes two minarets with a length of 76 meters, and it can accommodate about 3,000 visitors, making it the second largest mosque in Sharm El Sheikh. The mosque also includes a global Islamic cultural center and a religious cultural library. in different languages.
