Saint-Michel Bridge
One of the stone bridges in Paris that connects to the city island, the Pont Saint-Michel was built in the 1850s during the Second Empire. In the thirteenth century AD, a decision was made to build a bridge from the left bank over the city island and it was called "Neuve Pont". It was completed in 1387 during the reign of King Charles VI. After that, a new bridge made of stone was built between 1618 and 1624 during the reign of King Louis XIII, and there was an equestrian statue added to it with decorations of St. Michel and the Virgin Mary, and it was called the St. Michel Bridge.
