St. Barb Hill consists of a rocky outcrop that directly overlooks the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Throughout history, this site was a stronghold and a place of worship and pilgrimage for sailors respectively. It houses a 19th-century lighthouse that was used as a signal for sailing ships and boats. Its area is 22,000 square meters and it respects the terrain and the local flora to enhance the place and increase its attractiveness.
