Description of the place
The Sam Boh Temple, built in 1972, is the largest Buddhist temple complex in the Cameroon Highlands, and is located on top of a scenic hill. Giving it beautiful views of the city, it flaunts stunning architecture with a colorful gate and wall, and is decorated with large gilded statues and hand-painted ceramic tiles. Entrance to the temple is free.
