San Diego Chinese Historical Museum

One of downtown San Diego's best-kept secrets, the San Diego Chinese Museum of History is a nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing Chinese art and culture, and Chinese and American history. Exhibits include a hand-carved bed that belonged to a Chinese warlord, and a statue. A 1,500-year-old limestone Buddha head, a serene Asian garden, a pond, intricate miniature models of ancient Chinatown buildings, and many other diverse exhibits.
