Sandefjord Museum

The Sandefjord Museum is located in the city of the same name, and it is the only museum specialized in documenting the principles and methods of whaling in Europe. It includes a statue showing the full size of a blue whale with a height of 21 meters hanging from the ceiling in one of the galleries. Norwegian discoveries and the origin of the presence in the Antarctic, in addition to the study of social and family life and gender roles in hunting.
