Tourists and locals come in relatively large groups to Sanki Reservoir in order to enjoy the peaceful natural atmosphere in its area despite the fact that the reservoir is an artificial lake. Visitors also enjoy watching flocks of birds flying over the lake, as well as some species that swim with their young in the waters of the reservoir, which some tourists like to throw food for.
