Description of the place
The Satriamandala Museum was opened on October 5, 1972 in South Jakarta, and is the main museum of the Indonesian Armed Forces. It is one of the largest museums in the city as it consists of three buildings and a large outdoor exhibition area that extends over an area of 5.6 hectares. It is famous for its large collection that includes many military artefacts, weapons, vehicles, military aircraft and combat tanks.
