Description of the place
The Medieval Orthodox Savina Monastery complex is located next to the city of Herceg Novi on a hill full of green Mediterranean vegetation. It consists of a large church, a chapel, and the Temple of St. Sava, which was built by the same saint in the 13th century AD. It has a breathtaking view on one Among the most beautiful bays in the world, Boka Kotorska Bay, and its surroundings, the monastery treasury contains Russian, Italian and Cretan icons, parishes and amazing murals.
