Description of the place
Sayyid Wakkas lived his life in the service of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, and provided many services to the state on the political, religious and social levels. In honor of this great personality, the state decided to establish a monument around his tomb. , with unique ornaments and carvings. Today, the shrine is one of the most important tourist facilities in the city.
