Schartenberg Castle Ruins

Chartenberg Castle is located in the city of Kassel, and was mentioned for the first time in the year 1020 AD. The castle witnessed many lords and leaders over the passage of time, as it was in use for nearly 500 years, and due to the succession of civilizations and wars, today it has become ruins and some of its features have completely disappeared. Although there are no benches or facilities around the castle, it can be a good destination for hiking and exploring its historical civilization.
