Selimiye Foundation Museum

The Selimiye Foundation Museum is located within the Selimiye Mosque complex and includes in its collection a number of Islamic art pieces decorated with inscriptions, motifs and Arabic calligraphy that were found in the facilities of the Suleymaniye Mosque, other royal mosques and Ottoman buildings scattered throughout the city of Edirne. Tourists can see ornate windows, stained glass pieces, chandeliers that were used to light mosques, and other items.
