This mosque is considered the oldest mosque in the city of Jeddah, as it was built during the reign of Caliph Omar bin Al-Khattab and is still standing today. Al-Bahri, while the lighthouse was built in the thirteenth century to be one of the most prominent landmarks in the city, and the last restoration of the building was 500 years ago, and since that time it has not witnessed any renovation or restoration process.
