Shaumari Nature Reserve
Al-Shaumary Reserve is the first wildlife reserve in Jordan, and it was established in 1975 in the Azraq area in Wadi Al-Shaumary by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature. This reserve is a center for breeding and caring for endangered animals in the Middle East. In this place, you will find unique animal species such as the Arabian oryx, sand deer, wild Asian hungers, and houbara bustards. It is recommended to visit this reserve as part of a tour in a jeep, four-wheel-drive vehicles, or a tour on bicycles, horses or camels to get an integrated experience of pleasure and ease of movement.
