Shota Rustaveli Avenue

Rustaveli Street is the central street in Tbilisi. It was named after the medieval Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli. It starts from Freedom Square and extends for about 1.5 km until it turns into an extension of Kostava Street. This street is located in the center of the city, where there are many governmental, cultural and commercial facilities, and by strolling in it, it is possible to observe daily life in the city, explore shops of international and local brands, and buy local food from one of the restaurants or kiosks on the road.
