Saif Palace is the ruling palace in Kuwait, built in 1904 during the reign of Sheikh Mubarak Al-Kabeer. The palace is distinguished by the Islamic architectural character due to the use of arches and Islamic decorations, in addition to touches of the ancient Kuwaiti heritage, which made it a landmark worth visiting. Simple raw materials of clay, sea stone, wood and metal were used in its construction. The palace is now the official residence of the Emir, the Crown Prince and the Council of Ministers.
