Sirvani Mosque

Shervani Mosque is located in the Safarpasa district west of Gaziantep Citadel, and since it is the only mosque in historical Gaziantep with a two-balconied minaret, this mosque is also called the “two-balanced mosque” by the locals, and this mosque was built by Shervani Mehmet Effendi, and it is understood from the documents that the mosque was built before 1677, and according to one of the legends, if the mosque collapsed for any reason, enough gold and silver would be found in its base to rebuild it.
