St. George Armenian Apostolic Church

The ancient Armenian church in Çanakkale has always been associated with the presence of the Armenian population in the Ottoman Empire until 1915 when the last Armenian left the city. Tourists can still visit this church, contemplate its outer building, enjoy a tour of its garden decorated with roses, and explore the remaining religious icons and paintings, in addition to the possibility of attending dervish performances that are constantly organized in the outer church yards.
