This wonderful church is one of the oldest and oldest churches in the state of Tamil Nadu, and the history of the church dates back to the nineteenth century, and it was ordered to be built at that time by the British governor of the region, as he wanted a church exclusive to the British, and its construction ended in the year 1829 coinciding with the birthday of King George IV, who opened it. In the twentieth century, racial segregation ended and it became a church for all races.
